Community Guidelines

1 in 46 is a space for sharing and exploring dreams. Because dream content is deeply personal and often vulnerable, we hold our community to a high standard of respect, safety, and empathy. These guidelines apply to all publicly shared content, Dream Twin conversations, comments, and profile information.

Our Community Values

The 1 in 46 community is built on the following principles:

• Vulnerability is Strength: Dreams reveal our inner selves. This community honors that vulnerability with respect and empathy.
• Anonymous Safety: Dream Twin conversations are anonymous. Respect that boundary — don’t pressure others to reveal personal details.
• Constructive Resonance: When you engage with someone’s dream, approach it with curiosity and care, not judgment.
• No Diagnosis: Dream interpretation is a reflective tool, not a diagnostic one. Never tell someone what their dream "means" as medical or psychological fact.

Prohibited Content

The following types of content are strictly prohibited on 1 in 46:

• Sexually explicit or exploitative content
• Graphic violence or threats of harm
• Hate speech targeting individuals or groups
• Personally identifying information of others
• Spam, commercial solicitation, or manipulation
• Content promoting self-harm or suicide
• Impersonation of other users or public figures
• Content illegal under applicable law

Dreams naturally contain unusual, disturbing, or intense imagery. We recognize that recording a dream is not the same as endorsing its content. However, content that is shared publicly or directed at other users must comply with these guidelines. Private dream journal entries are not subject to community moderation, but remain subject to our Terms of Service.

Abuse and Harassment Policy

We take abuse and harassment seriously. The following behaviors are not tolerated:

• Targeted harassment of individuals through comments, messages, or public dream shares
• Pressuring Dream Twin matches to reveal personal information or meet in person
• Bullying, intimidation, or repeated unwanted contact after a user has disengaged
• Creating content designed to mock, demean, or humiliate other users
• Coordinated harassment campaigns or encouraging others to target a specific user

Spam and Manipulation

Maintaining the authenticity of the 1 in 46 community is essential. The following are prohibited:

• Posting repetitive, identical, or machine-generated content designed to game the feed or matching systems
• Using the platform for commercial solicitation, advertising, or promotion without authorization
• Creating fake or misleading dream entries to manipulate Dream Twin matching
• Operating multiple accounts to circumvent enforcement actions or artificially inflate engagement

Enforcement Actions

Violations of these guidelines may result in one or more of the following actions, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation:

1. Warning: A notification informing you that your content or behavior violates our guidelines, with instructions on how to comply.
2. Content Removal: The offending content will be removed from public view. You will be notified when content is removed.
3. Temporary Suspension: Your account may be temporarily restricted from social features, including public sharing, commenting, and Dream Twin chat.
4. Permanent Ban: For severe or repeated violations, your account may be permanently terminated and you will be prohibited from creating new accounts.

We review all enforcement actions carefully and strive to be fair and consistent. If you believe an action was taken in error, you may appeal by contacting support@1in46.app.

Reporting

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it. You can:

• Use the in-app reporting feature on any public dream, comment, or chat message
• Email our moderation team at support@1in46.app

All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Reports are treated confidentially — the reported user will not be informed of who filed the report.
