  • Dream content (text entries and voice recordings)
  • AI-generated interpretations and classifications
  • Social activity (resonances, comments, public dream shares)
  • Subscription status and billing identifiers
  • Push notification tokens
  • Optional profile fields (avatar, bio)
  • Optional location data (city/country for Dream Globe)

How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

  • Dream Interpretation: Your dream text and voice recordings are processed by AI models to generate interpretations, source classifications, and Dream Cinema videos.
  • Social Features: If you choose to share a dream publicly, it becomes visible in the community feed. Dream Twin matching uses anonymized dream content to find similar dreamers.
  • Subscription Management: Billing identifiers are used to manage your subscription status, process renewals, and restore purchases across devices.
  • App Improvement: Aggregated, anonymized usage data helps us understand how features are used and where we can improve.
  • Notifications: Push notification tokens are used solely to deliver notifications you have opted into, such as Dream Twin matches and streak reminders.

Public vs Private Content

By default, your dreams are private. Only you can see them. You may choose to share individual dreams to the public community feed, where other users can view, resonate with, and comment on them.

You can change the visibility of any dream at any time. Removing a dream from the public feed removes it from community view, though cached versions may briefly persist.

Dream Twin matching analyzes your dream content to find thematic overlaps with other users. Matched users communicate through anonymous chat — no personal information is shared unless you voluntarily disclose it within the conversation.

Third-Party Processors

We work with trusted third-party service providers to deliver core features. These processors handle data only as necessary to perform their designated functions:

  • Supabase: Database and authentication infrastructure
  • Anthropic: AI dream interpretation and analysis
  • OpenAI: AI dream interpretation and content generation
  • Deepgram: Voice transcription services
  • fal.ai: AI video generation (Dream Cinema)
  • ElevenLabs: Audio and voice processing
  • RevenueCat: Subscription and payment management
  • Expo Notifications: Push notification delivery

We do not sell your personal data or dream content to any third party. Data shared with processors is governed by their respective privacy policies and our data processing agreements.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
  • Export: Download your complete dream archive and account data in a portable format.
  • Delete: Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Correct: Update or correct any inaccurate personal information in your profile.

Children's Policy

1 in 46 is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

Users between the ages of 13 and 16 may use 1 in 46 only with verifiable parental or guardian consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data without your consent, please contact us at privacy@1in46.app.

International Data Transfers

1 in 46 operates globally, and your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Our third-party processors may store and process data in the United States and other jurisdictions. By using 1 in 46, you consent to the transfer of your information to these locations.

We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy regardless of where it is processed. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate legal mechanisms to ensure your data is adequately protected, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for transfers from the EEA, and similar safeguards for other jurisdictions.
